Consultancy and Support
Enabling the church to overcome poverty and exclusion with the love, healing and restoration of Jesus.
Transforming Notts Together’s VISION is to inspire, equip and connect churches as they help people break free from poverty.
We want to work with the church in all its forms across Nottinghamshire to lead the transformation of our communities: overcoming poverty, deprivation and exclusion with the love, healing and restoration that comes from Jesus through His people.
Transforming Notts Together’s ROLE
- Inspire the Church into Action – by sharing stories of what God is doing through local churches and Christian led initiatives
- Equip Churches and Projects – facilitating clear vision and strategy development, mentoring leaders, consultancy and wide ranging tailored training.
- Connect Churches, Projects, Statutory and other providers, building partnerships in order to achieve greater transformation across Nottinghamshire.

Nottingham Housing Showcase
TNT is leading a group of key partners to develop and implement a strategy to create more affordable and ethical housing across Nottinghamshire. You can read about our developments on our Housing Page.
Supporting Vulnerable Families
Working with Safe Families, 100 Homes and others to create a more effective network of support for families in the greatest need. Our December 2024 training on having a trauma informed approach to welcoming and supporting vulnerable families, received such high praise that we have already planned a follow up!

Places of Welcome, Community Hubs and more!
Transforming Notts Together currently coordinates over 86 Places of Welcome across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. We are now actively supporting many to learn together to grow as holistic community hubs and taking the lead on developing a national community hub network - Communities of Hope.
Our February 2025 event, What Next for Places of Welcome/Warm Welcome Spaces?, brought together nearly 150 people from across the City and County, keen to learn how they could expand their provision to further meet the needs of their local communities. We had workshops covering topics such as refugees and asylum seekers, community hubs, health and social services, faith, and wellbeing.

Supporting TNT
You can support our work in a range of ways.

We offer free support
TNT works amongst the poorest communities in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, but we offer consultancy support wherever it is needed, often with no expectation of financial reimbursement. We trust God to provide for his work in other ways.

Your support is welcome
When churches and projects are able to contribute to the support we provide for them, this is extremely welcome.

Shared grant funding bids
Some projects will be able to provide financial support by incorporating our support and training costs in their own grant funding bids. We can help with this if needed.

Agreeing a budget
Some projects may wish to agree a budget in advance to cover some or all of our costs. We will seek to offer as much help as we can, treating any payment as a contribution not a limit to our support.

Regular Support
Whether a church or individual, we would love you to support our work with the church in the poorest communities by committing to regular giving. We love to receive more regular support to sustain our work and see the transformation of impoverished communities throughout Nottinghamshire. You can set up regular support here.
