What is Wellness to Thrive?

Wellness to Thrive: Not Just Survive is a wellbeing course based on the book Soul Care by Rev. Tina Hodges. It can be run as either a 4 or a 6 week course to take us from a place of comforting ourselves and surviving from day to day, to a life lived in relationship with God whereby we learn to cherish ourselves and break destructive habits.

The course book has been developed by Rev. Tina, with support from Iris McLean, and is perfect for small group, couples, individuals, or as a Lent resource to bring refreshment and healing to a congregation or community

Who Is It For?

This is for anyone who wants to be refreshed and invest some time in wellbeing of themselves. It is written from a Christian perspective, but is accessible for all.

This is different from the TNT Come As You Are workshops, which are designed to help churches consider how they can be strategic in walking with their congregation and community in areas of mental health and wellbeing.

Wellness to Thrive is to restore and refresh, because we are loved and valued just as we are.

How Can I Participate?

We are thrilled that Iris McLean is running the course in partnership with Transforming Notts Together in March. It is free to attend and you just need to bring yourself (and maybe a blanket/ cup of tea).

To run the course as a leader yourself, simply order the course book and you will receive all the materials needed to facilitate in your setting.
