The Brand New Holiday Food club in Nottingham City

Joining the list of amazing holiday food clubs this last Easter break was in Sneinton. The Holiday Food Club was open on 7 days over the 2-week break run by St Christopher's Church and Youth with A Mission (YWAM) Forge - the project was a big success!

A team of 18 volunteers from a number of local church communities cooked and hosted breakfast for local families in Sneinton. With 144 hot breakfasts & 144 packed lunches served it is clear to see the positive impact that this project had. Around 100 children & families were impacted with a number of families attending on several mornings.

Lauren Simpson, Assistant Development Worker at Transforming Notts Together said “It is amazing to see how many families and children were impacted, and all through food and conversation. The breakfast club was also supported by local shops, what a great example of the community coming together for the greater good.”

There are plans to host the breakfast club again later in the year.
