Finance Signposting Workshop in Response to Covid-19

Many households across the UK have been thrown into financial chaos due to the Coronavirus. People are unsure of:

  • What they’re entitled to
  • Where to access support
  • How to begin accessing help
  • How to plan and cope financially during this period of uncertainty

Designed as an information and signposting intervention with Capital Mass, Transforming Communities Together and Just Finance Black Country, CCC aims to prevent the financial challenges posed by the Coronavirus from causing crisis in local communities.

"What am I entitled to?" is one of the most asked questions as a result of financial pressures caused by Coronavirus.

If you would like the tools to continue that conversation and be able to signpost current resources and websites then the Covid-19 Cash Course is for you!

The free, non-advisory information and signposting workshop aims to prevent financial challenges posed by Coronavirus from creating crisis in local communities. The course is evolving as the pandemic evolves, so you can be sure that information will be up to date and relevant for you and those in your community.

How Can I Access This Course?

Transforming Notts Together and Just Finance Foundation have teamed up to deliver a free 2 hour signposting course, every Tuesday between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. You can book your place here or, to find out more, please contact Julia.

  • 100% of participants found the session useful
  • 98% of participants rated the session as either 'high' or 'very high' quality
  • 91% of facilitators agree that CCC increased their knowledge on financial issues and resources relating to COVID-19
  • 'I was not expecting to learn that much. I feel like I have a much clearer understanding of it all and in a better position to help those we are connected with. I love that the church can be a praying church but also a practical one too.'
'Thank you for this course and materials. It was very beneficial!'
'I’d like to say that I found your ‘Training the trainers’ session really useful. It was jam-packed with up-to-date information (which was changing very rapidly) and the discussions with others from around the country proved to be really valuable as it helped to not only understand different people’s contexts, but I felt like I was not alone and part of a larger group of people looking to help be part of a solution'
