Churches Supporting Refugees & Asylum Seekers

There are many churches in Nottingham who run English classes, support asylum seekers or befriend refugees. This network gathers them together to build relationships, share ideas and work together.

At the moment involved in this network we have people representing: 5 English classes, 2 befriending projects, 3 football teams, 2 houses for refugees, the Rainbow Project and Welcome Churches. What a wonderful mix!

If you'd like to get involved in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in or around Nottingham then contact one of the above organisations directly.

If you're considering starting up something as a church, then email Hannah to arrange a chat about what the needs might be and to learn from work happening already.

Here is a list what churches are currently doing and their contact details..
