Signposting Resources-Nottingham City

A directory of services across Nottingham City for individuals or churches to signpost to...
Introduction
‘Signposting’ is helping someone get to the next person or place where they can receive help. As a church or an individual, you are unlikely to meet the needs of an individual or family who you meet, but there are others in Nottingham who CAN provide help and advice around a wide range of challenges.
Remember that the most important thing you can do is LISTEN, and signpost the person onto the most relevant place. Please do not give out cash to people you do not know, but do offer to buy them something specific if they have a particular need that you are willing and able to meet.
On this page, you will find links under a number of headings. These links are for agencies we consider to be the most relevant and central, but there are a lot of other places and people who may be able to help, so do feel free to signpost someone to a more local place if that is better. Just check if and when they are open, and what their referral process is (if they have one).
This information has been put together by Transforming Notts Together, and we would love to hear from you if you know of relevant agencies we can include on this page. Please keep us informed by emailing Sue@transformingnottstogether.org.uk
